Barbados has condemned the United States embargo on Cuba and demanded its removal.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility for Culture, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight has described the United States embargo against Cuba as unjust and unfair.

She was speaking at the ceremony to mark the 46th anniversary of the bombing of Cubana Airlines Flight 455 which crashed off Barbados.

The ceremony took place at the monument at Paynes, St. James which was erected to commemorate the disaster.
