PM Appeals for Patience as Gov’t Tries to Get Tourism Back on Track

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley urges Barbadians to remain patient as the country seeks to get its tourism product back on track.

She was speaking at the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the start of construction on the Indigo hotel at the sight of the old Caribee hotel in Hastings this morning.

PM Mottley highlighted some of the challenges caused by the covid-19 pandemic and noted that such investments show that there is still confidence in the island’s tourism sector.
