QEH Working to Clear Backlog of Eye Surgeries

The Chief Operations Officer at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital says they are working to clear up the backlog of eye surgeries that were rescheduled over the last two years due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Christie Greenidge told Starcom Network News management will prioritize these elective surgeries and remains hopeful that by the end of the year the backlog will be significantly reduced.

Dr. Greenidge blames the backlog of eye surgeries on the covid-19 pandemic.
