Dr. David Estwick, and Dr. Ronnie Yearwood are the official candidates that will contest the Democratic Labour Party’s Presidential election scheduled for May 1st.

This disclosure was made during a DLP press conference held earlier today at the party’s headquarters in George Street, St. Michael.

Executive Member of the DLP, Irene Sandiford-Garner, explained that the four names circulating in the public as potential contenders in the presidential race were only nominees and not official candidates.

Returning Officer, Ricardo Harrison says that everything was set for the election on May 1st, where they expect approximately eight hundred people to turn up for voting.
