The family of seventy-four year old, Denzil Allman, say they are still in shock at his death last night in a car crash that involved a police vehicle.

Mr. Allman, who was a justice of the peace, was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a marked police SUV at the intersection of Black Rock and Fairfield main roads in St. Michael.

Charles Allman says his father was on his way home from church at the time of the accident.

Mr. Allman’s sons are concerned about the circumstances of the accident as they say their father was a careful driver.
