Health authorities are promising to address any payment issues that members of the Covid-19 Monitoring Unit may be having and urge anyone with a problem to draw it to the attention of the head of that section.
This followings an emotional statement on VOB’s Down to Brass Tacks call-in program today by a woman claiming to be a member of the unit. She complained of not being paid.
A health official told Starcom Network News that he was aware of a recent issue that delayed salaries but said that had been sorted out and advised that anyone who has a subsequent issue should contact the head of the unit to have it addressed.
He denied knowledge of the case in question.
