BWA Secures its Community Tanks as TS Elsa Approaches

The Barbados Water Authority advises that its Community Tanks have been filled and secured prior to the passage of Tropical Storm Elsa.

This has been done in an effort to prevent the tanks from becoming missiles and to ensure that the water in them is available for use after the storm when the all clear has been given.

The Authority’s water tanker service has also now been suspended until after the all clear has been issued.
