Barbados yesterday received a major financial helping hand from the World Bank in the form of a 200 million Barbados dollar loan.
The announcement came from Minister in the Ministry of Finance Ryan Straughn, speaking to Starcom Network News at the launch of another Clean and Green initiative of the Ministry of the Environment.
Mr. Straughn says the loan will assist with the island’s COVID-19 Response and Recovery.
He expects that an accelerated capital works program and Barbados making the UK Green Travel list position this country very nicely for an economic takeoff, provided there isn’t another lockdown
