The debit cards traditionally used by thousands of credit union and commercial bank customers in Barbados will shortly be no more as the Cariffs Network is phased out by early next year.
Donna Wellington, head of the Barbados Bankers Association and Managing Director of CIBC First Caribbean Barbados, tells Starcom Network News that the various institutions have commenced the transition.
She says that First Caribbean has already started to make the switch.
