Family suspects foul play in teen’s death

The mother of 17-year-old Cadeisha Knight, who was found hanging at her residence at Adam’s Castle #12, Vauxhall, Christ Church, around 9 p.m. on Friday says she does not believe her daughter took her own life.

Police said that on Friday night, personnel from the Boarded Hall Station responded to a report that a young female was found hanging by the neck.

When Ambulance personnel examined the body they reported that there was no sign of life.

Cadeisha, a former Princess Margaret Secondary School student, who was aspiring to be an auxiliary nurse, lived at the house with her godmother, Josalene Browne.

Her mother, Fiona Knight said her daughter was always friendly with everyone.  She suspects foul play in the 17-year-old’s death.

Fiona said leading up to her daughter’s death, Cadeisha was receiving “disturbing”  WhatsApp voice notes from a man.

The godmother described Cadeisha as a “loving girl” who would always find ways to make people smile. She says she’s shocked about the circumstances surrounding her death adding that despite rumors, she doesn’t believe the teen took her own life.
