BUT rejects Santia’s invitation

Minister of Education, Santia Bradshaw is pressing ahead with a consultation forum with teachers next week.

This despite the President of the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT), Pedro Sheperd, rejecting the invitation.

Ms. Bradshaw tells Starcom Network News the sessions are still on and she looks forward to meeting with the teachers of this country.

However, the BUT President argues that’s such a meeting runs contrary to the COVID-19 protocols.
