Eagle Hall residents shaken after shooting death

Barbados has recorded its third homicide in five days, the latest victim being 26 year old, Kadeem Bispham of Roach Village, St. George, shot in the early hours of this morning, just a stone’s throw from the Black Rock police station.

This is the 27th homicide for the year so far and follows the shooting death of a St. George man last Sunday, while the body of a 30-year-old woman from the Pine, St. Michael was found at Lower Collymore Rock, St. Michael earlier this week.

Bispham was shot around 2:45 am at 2nd Avenue Gills Gap, Eagle Hall, St. Michael as a karaoke lime was on nearby.

A resident tells Starcom Network News he was jolted by multiple gunshots and looked outside to see a man on the ground dead near his front step.

Another resident, Lucina Edwards says a bullet came through the side of her house and landed in one of her shoes. She says it was a terrifying experience and she’s still shaken.

One other resident noted there has been another fatal shooting in that area and says he’s concerned.
