A lightning strike knocked out electricity supply to Barbados Light and Power Company customers in several areas this afternoon.

Light and Power’s Manager of Communications Jackie Marshall Clarke, tells Starcom Network News that crews have been working to repair the fault.

Mrs. Marshall-Clarke confirmed that a sparking utility pole shown in a video circulated online was where the lightning strike occurred.
