Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has dismissed the Democratic Labour Party’s characterisation of yesterday’s throne speech as ‘warmed over soup’.
DLP President, Verla DePeiza, issued a statement yesterday harshly criticising the contents of the presentation, condemning it as too political.
But today, Prime Minister Mottley hit back. She defended the government’s announced policies, insisting the needs of Barbados are being put first.
