The owner of a Bridgetown pharmacy has been stabbed several times during an attempted robbery at his business place.
Police said the incident occurred on the compound of A. P. Jones & Co. Limited at High Street, the City St. Michael.
Lawmen said a man was seen placing items in a bag and was approached by a female security guard who was on duty.
The man reportedly drew a knife and became hostile. Police revealed that another man who was present at the store confronted him, a struggle ensued resulting in the male being injured about his body. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motorcar. His condition is still unknown at this stage. The suspect is assisting Police with investigations.
