A man who had been wanted for a string of burglaries is in custody after being held following a car chase on Sunday night.

LeRoss Burnett, a suspect well-known to the police was spotted by police just before 9 pm near the old Globe cinema.

The police pursued the suspect who damaged two police vehicles as he fled in a car. He was eventually apprehended at Jessamy Avenue, Bayville, St. Michael.
