Retired Professor, historian and former deputy principal at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Pedro Welch has died.
Welch, 74, passed away on Thursday evening, less than six months after the death of his mother, Dame Maizie Barker-Welch.
His former schoolmate and close friend, former Prime Minister Hon. Fruendel Stuart, remembers Welch as a man of honor.
