A house at Church Hill, Christ Church was significantly damaged in a fire late Thursday that also affected a nearby residence.

Officers from the Worthing and Bridgetown Fire Stations responded to the blaze which occurred around 11 pm.

Divisional Fire Officer Tremelle Perch told Starcom Network News the wooden section of the house was destroyed while a nearby house suffered minor damage.

There were no injuries.
