A Waterford, St. Michael resident has been left traumatized after being robbed at gunpoint while sitting on her porch.
The incident happened at Belleview Gap yesterday, Friday.
Starcom Network News understands that the woman was sitting in her front porch just around 3 pm when two men, one armed with a gun, approached her and attempted to rob her of her gold chain and bracelet.
We were told a scuffle ensued. However, she managed to escape her assailants and sought refuge at the nearby home of a relative.
The thieves managed to escape with the bracelet.
When Starcom Network News visited the area, the visibly shaken victim was too distraught to speak, but a close neighbor who heard the commotion recounted what took place.
