Fatal shooting at St. Barnabas

The country’s latest homicide victim has been identified as 27- year-old Anthony Callender of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church.

Police say they responded to St. Barnabas Heights, St. Michael about 11:15 pm last night after receiving reports that a man was shot in the area.

Police report that the deceased was walking along the roadway when a vehicle approached him a series of gunshots were heard he was fatally injured.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is homicide number five for the year so far in Barbados.
