A Christ Church man is now assisting police with their investigations into what is the latest homicide following a stabbing around 5:40 pm at the Paramount Funeral home at Hindsbury Road St. Michael yesterday.
42-year-old Romel Williams of Edeys Village Christ Church is in police custody after investigations revealed that the deceased 63-year-old Trevor Bradshaw 3rd Avenue Deanes Village, Hindsbury Road, St. Michael, relatives and other family members, were at Paramount Funeral Home to view the body of his brother, the late Erwin Bradshaw formerly of Princess Royal Avenue, Pinelands, St Michael.
Police reports indicate a verbal dispute ensued between family members in the palour. The melee which continued outside escalated into a physical altercation which resulted in Bradshaw sustaining two stab wounds to the torso. He was taken to the QEH via private vehicle where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers at the District A police station are continuing investigations.
