The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados has called for a clear, comprehensive plan from the National Advisory Council on Citizen Security to address crime on the island.
The organization, which sits on the council, is concerned about the growing threat that gun violence poses.
CTUSAB General Secretary Dennis Depeiza believes that while the enforcement of the tinting regulations has captured public attention, it should not be a priority.
He said focus should be placed on crime fighting measures.
