Q.E.H. C.O.O. steps down

Chief Operating Officer of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Dr. Christine Greenidge, has resigned.

In a memo to the QEH staff today, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Neil Clarke, announced that Dr. Greenidge had decided to step down from her role.

He said that Dr. Greenidge had been an integral part of the QEH for nearly three years and had also acted as CEO.

Dr. Greenidge, a registered nurse by clinical profession, holds a doctorate in health care administration and took up the post at the QEH in February, 2022 after serving as the Associate Executive Director of the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation.

Mr. Clarke added that over the coming weeks they will work with Dr. Greenidge to ensure a smooth and seamless transition and that updates on her responsibilities and next steps will be communicated in due course.
