A 37 year old man has been shot dead outside his home at Silver Hill, Christ Church.
The deceased has been identified as Omar Haynes of Green Hill Close, Silver Hill.
Starcom Network News understands that Haynes was sitting outside his home about 9 35 PM when loud, rapid bursts of what appeared to be automatic gunfire were heard.
The victim was struck multiple times about the body and was found by his mother in a pool of blood.
He was transported to hospital in a private vehicle, and on arriving, there was pronounced dead.
