Two ministers and a government senator have been officially sworn in.

They are newly appointed Senator and Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment, Chad Blackman, new Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Marsha Caddle, and newly appointed government Senator Reverend Charles Morris.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says that the three will add value to the governance of Barbados.

Speaking to the media after being sworn in at State House this morning, Senator Blackman said his focus is on increasing foreign and domestic investment.

Meantime, the new Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Marsha Caddle says it is a privilege to be able to serve again.  She highlighted her ministry’s potential to assist the government’s agenda in key areas.
