Legal representatives for Barbadian radio personality Anthony “Admiral” Nelson believe that what they call “an amicable resolution” is likely following Mr. Nelson’s arrest in Miami on a domestic violence battery charge.
The arrest allegedly resulted from an incident involving a female friend of the radio DJ on board a cruise ship.
Barbadian Senior Counsel Michael Lashley is liaising with a Florida attorney who is representing Mr. Nelson in the case.
In a statement issued to Starcom Network News Mr. Lashley said: “I have been consulted by Mr. Nelson and as a consequence I have rendered him advice, and hopefully, the matter should be amicably resolved. His liberty at this stage is unhindered.”
Starcom understands that at the time of writing this news story the paperwork was being processed for Mr. Nelson’s release on bail, having posted bond.
