Gov’t Announces Payment of $40M in Tax Refunds and Reverse Tax Credits

Government is paying out more than forty million dollars in tax refunds and reverse tax credits to about 45 thousand Barbadians some of whom should have their money as early as tomorrow, Thursday, just in time for Christmas.

This has been announced by Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Ryan Straughn, who tells Starcom Network News more than 19 million dollars in reverse tax credit refunds are being issued.

In addition, another 30 thousand people will be getting their personal income tax refunds totalling more than 21 million dollars.
