Update: House Destroyed in Blaze at Black Rock

A family of four has been displaced by a house fire this morning at Black Rock, St. Michael.

The blaze occurred at Yearwood Development, Clevedale.

Three fire tenders from the Port fire station reported to scene with fifteen fire officers.

Three others homes suffered minor damage.

One of the victims, Linton Raphael, who was living in the house for 22 years, explained that his family lost everything.

Meantime, Member of Parliament for the area, Ian Gooding-Edghill says he is working with the welfare department to assist the family.
