Sam Lord’s Castle Now Scheduled for October “Soft Opening”/Cost Extra $US 22M

The Barbados government is having to pay an extra 22 million dollars to the contractors on the 400 room Sam Lord’s Castle Hotel which was delayed by two a half years due the covid-19 pandemic.

The soft opening is planned for October.

This was disclosed by Prime Minister Mia Amor today during a tour of the project.

Prime Minister Mottley announced that government is planning further development on the 55 acre Sam Lord’s Castle site.

The Sam Lord’s Hotel will eventually employ a thousand people.
