The police are searching for two young men who attempted to rob a route taxi driver at gun point in the early hours of Monday morning.

ZR driver Marlon Tempro tells Starcom Network News he was on his last trip, headed home about 12 30 Monday when two men attempted a hold-up.

The episode was captured by the vehicle’s dash-cam and the video has gone viral on social media.

It shows the attempted robbery taking a different turn than the bandits expected when Mr. Tempro sped up the vehicle and rocked it from side to side causing the young men to scream in terror and beg to be let off.

The would-be robbers eventually fled the vehicle and Mr. Tempro reported the matter to the police who have subsequently issued wanted notices for two young men.

Mr. Tempro tells Starcom Network he recognizes at least one of the men in the wanted notice as one of the robbers.
