New Draft B’dos Constitution By September

A draft of the proposed new Barbados constitution is to be completed by September and the general process for submissions ended today.

This was disclosed by Chairman of the Constitution Reform Commission, retired Justice Christopher Blackman, during a news briefing at parliament.

He says more than a hundred submissions have been received.

 

Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Senator Gregory Nicholls gave the assurance that all submissions will be considered.
