High Hopes for Crop Over as Season of Emancipation Launched

Government believes all signs are pointing towards a very successful Crop Over this year.

That’s the assessment of the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility for Culture, Senator , Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight.

She says that reports from the Grand Kadooment bands indicate some of them are already sold out.

And the calypso tents are being set up.

Senator Dr. Munro- Knight encourages the public to participate in activities planned for the season of emancipation which commences today.
