The Barbados Water Authority says it’s tackling a large number of bursts that occurred over the last 24 hours.
The BWA stresses the situation has no connection to yesterday’s power outage that affected some pumping stations and caused low water pressure in certain areas.
The authority’s Director of Engineering, Charles Leslie, provided Starcom Network News with an update on the bursts.
He gives the assurance that work continues to have the repairs done as quickly as possible.
