The Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association reports the island recorded good arrival numbers for December last year surpassing pre pandemic levels.
This was among the disclosures this morning during a BHTA news briefing.
Chair of the BHTA, Renee Coppin disclosed that arrivals in October and November also improved over the previous year but were not back to 2019 levels.
Ms. Coppin is optimistic the growth will continue this year.

Meantime also speaking during the news briefing the BHTA’s new Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Forde said they were able to accommodate the majority of the passengers who were affected by the recent closure of the Grantley Adams International Airport.
