The Barbados Alliance to End homelessness says a national approach is needed to effectively address homelessness in the New Year.

President of the Alliance, Kemar Saffrey says they will be meeting with other related organizations to see how best they can prevent cases of homelessness in 2023.

He explains an increase in homelessness among the mentally challenged and elderly communities has already been predicted for 2023, and says measures must be put in place to address the matter.

He believes that collaboration between key stakeholders is necessary if their efforts are to be more productive.
