Meantime, Director of Halo Lounge Barbados, Orlando Newton, believes that while his venue had a successful night fewer Barbadians appear to have opted to party on Old Year’s Night.
He wonders whether this is indicative of a trend.
Mr. Newton speculates that a decline in disposable income after a tough few years may have been one of the factors in play but remains hopeful of an improvement in the future.
