It seems likely the joint operation between the Police Service and the Defense Force, Operation Restore Order will be extended beyond the initial three months as Attorney General Dale Marshall sends a warning to criminals of a no-nonsense approach in 2023.
Mr. Marshall tells Starcom Network News that the new harsher sentences for gun offences now in effect are part of efforts to assure the public and to make it clear to criminals there’s an all out effort to deal with the gun violence.
Meantime, the joint patrols are set to continue.
