Corey Layne has officially commenced duties as Minister in the Attorney General’s office responsible for crime prevention.
He was sworn in today by President Dame Sandra Mason in the presence of Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley and the Attorney General.
Mr. Layne told journalists following his swearing-in that crime prevention in Barbados needs coordination.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley gave her full support to Mr. Layne in his new role.
