Customs and the police have made a major arms seizure at the Bridgetown Port.
Starcom Network News understands that at least 35 guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were seized in a barrel of personal effects during a search.
The major weapons and ammunition find reportedly occurred yesterday during a scan at the shed where items shipped into the island for individuals are processed.
Some reports indicate the guns and bullets were stashed among foodstuff and other items.
