Seized Drugs Destroyed

Police destroyed over 400 kilos of illegal drugs this morning during an exercise at the incinerator located at the Portvale Sugar Factory.

Inspector Stephen Griffith indicated that the drugs destroyed were in police custody and the matters have been decided in court.

Inspector Griffith hopes that operations being carried out by the Barbados Police Force will lead to more illegal drugs being seized.
