Salvation Army Provides 450 families with Back to School Supplies

A local businessman is calling on more private sector businesses to join local charities in assisting needy families.

Managing Director of Abed’s, Eddie Abed made the plea this morning as the Salvation Army provided school supplies to help four hundred and 50 children as part of its back-to-school programme, at its divisional headquarters in Reed Street Bridgetown.

Mr. Abed said that his company will continue to contribute to the education of children all across the island. Abed’s has been a major contributor to the Back to school drive over the last five years.
