This country’s business sector says it’s very worried about the current spate of gun violence.

Chairman of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Tricia Tannis, was speaking on VOB’s Down to Brass Tacks call-in program.

Mrs. Tannis was at pains to point out that the private sector is not reassured by the authorities stating that the gunmen are targeting each other.

The Private Sector Association head is also concerned about the number of gun accused being granted bail and wants the bail laws amended.

She believes the current bail system enables and encourages the criminal element.
