Barbadian journalist Kaymar Jordan confirms she has tendered her resignation as editor-in-chief of the Gleaner Media Company in Jamaica as she prepares to take up a new post.
An announcement to that effect was made at a management meeting this morning.
Miss Jordan tells Starcom Network News she’ll be pursuing a new opportunity.
Miss Jordan joined the Gleaner in October 2019 after holding several senior media positions in Barbados including stints as Editor in Chief at the Nation Publishing and CEO and Editor in Chief of Barbados Today.
Meantime, Guardian Media Limited has named Ms. Jordan as its new Managing Editor, and she will replace Rosemarie Sant who proceeds on retirement.
