Elderly Man Latest COVID-19 Death

A 95-year-old man lost his battle with COVID-19 on Tuesday, July 5. He was partially vaccinated and his death has brought the number of deaths from the virus to 478.

A total of 157 new COVID-19 cases, 71 males and 86 females, were recorded on Wednesday, July 6, from the 629 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The cases comprised 26 persons under the age of 18, and 131 who were 18 years and older.

The number of people in isolation facilities was 83, while 1,505 were in home isolation.
