Decision Soon on Common Entrance But Shift “Not Overnight”

A decision is to be made soon on the common entrance exam which government has said previously is to be replaced.

Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw says cabinet is to discuss the matter shortly but indicates there will be a transition process.

Miss Bradshaw deputizing for education minister Kay McConnney who is overseas was speaking at the Springer Memorial School, one of the centers, after thousands of students took the common entrance exam today.

 

She spoke of the need to change national thinking about school choice and education overall.

Chief Education Officer Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw also visited some of the examination centers including the Combermere School where she said she was pleased with the level of preparation of the students.
