Government continues to look for ways to harvest and put to use the sargassum seaweed that affects Barbados’ coasts.

Minister of the Environment and National Beautification, Adrian Forde, speaking at an event to mark the United Nations World Oceans Day noted several projects and studies undertaken with assistance from the UN and the government of Japan.

Mr. Forde also appealed to Barbadians to play their part in protecting and preserving the marine environment.
