Scores of pensioners this afternoon expressed relief after payments finally hit their accounts in time for Christmas after days of delays.

Several had reached out to Starcom Network News in previous days to express their frustration, including Angela Kinch, who called again late this afternoon with better news. She was grateful.

But she felt the authorities could have done a better job in communicating.
