General Secretary of the Unity Workers Union, Senator Caswell Franklyn, says that the nurse’s strike will continue, as the details behind their longstanding issues have not been rectified.
Senator Franklyn tells Starcom Network News that although the Barbados Nurses Association and the government agreed to some of the terms put forward by the union, the nurses are not in a better situation after yesterday’s meeting.
He adds that the nurses will remain on strike.
