A former Democratic Labour Party (DLP) candidate for the City is looking to join the ranks of the ruling Barbados Labour Party.
Henderson Williams confirmed to Starcom Network News that he handed his application for membership to the party this morning.

Earlier this year he was among a number of DLP members who tendered their resignation from the Verla De Peiza-led party.

In the last general elections Mr. Williams contested the City seat against Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic who recently announced his intention to bow out of elective politics at the end of the current term.
