Hoax!, Government says no truth to severe lockdown reports

The Barbados government has dismissed as a hoax, a notice in circulation alleging there’ll be a severe lockdown in Barbados starting today, requiring businesses to close at noon.

Director of Public Affairs in the ministry of Home Affairs, Information and Public Affairs, Patricia Parris, tells Starcom Network News, her office has been bombarded with calls about the supposed curfew.

She says that the notice originated in Jamaica.
